Features
Zeolite is a sedimentary mineral of volcanic origin, primarily composed of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide. Its fundamental characteristic is the presence of numerous empty spaces within the structure, allowing for various physical phenomena such as highly efficient cation exchange and the ability to absorb significant amounts of water, which it then releases with changes in temperature. This is effective in drastically reducing the moisture present on plants, creating an environment unfavorable for the development of fungal diseases. Its action is exclusively physical-mechanical and does not interfere with the normal physiology of plants.
Fields of application
It can be used on all crops. For dusting treatments: at a rate of 6-8 kg/ha of product, also in combination with other products normally used with this method (eg: sulfur). For spraying treatments: at a rate of 2-5 kg/ha, also in combination with agrochemicals (eg: copper and sulfur).
Hazard classification
The product is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP).
