Features
Hydrophilic clay of volcanic origin composed mainly of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide (phyllosilicate). In agriculture, it is used as an adhesive, as a carrier for other products, and for its ability to absorb water, drying the microenvironment and making it unsuitable for the development of certain pathogens. It can also be used in variable doses, within compost, cultivation substrates, in the production of paste for trunk brushing, and in biodynamic preparations.
Fields of application
Dust treatments: 10-20 kg/ha of product depending on the crop, also in mixture with other products normally used with this method (eg: sulfur). Spraying treatments: as an adhesive at a dose of 100-150 g/hl. Usable on all crops.
Hazard classification
The product is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP).
