Features
Selective insecticide based on CpGV (Cydia pomonella granulovirus). This virus acts exclusively by ingestion against the larvae of Cydia pomonella - codling moth - and is selective towards beneficial insects. Once ingested, the virus reduces larval trophic and motor activity and makes them more susceptible to various diseases. In 3-5 days, they stop feeding and die. The product is successfully used in organic and integrated defense programs.
Fields of application
It is used to control Cydia pomonella on apple, pear, quince, walnut, and nashi. At room temperature, it is stable for about 4 months; at 4-5°C, it is stable for at least one year; in the freezer (-20°C), it is stable for at least 6 years.
Hazard classification
The product is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP).
